All monetary donations go to fuel and tolls for the truck to NOLA and other direct expenses, like packaging materials. All labor is being donated. All the trucks are being donated, so far. For Volunteer opportunities, and a current list of needed goods, please click on the "News" button. We are in the process of filing to become a 501c3 not-for profit organization. Stay tuned for more info on this.

Please note that it costs $50 for each pallet of supplies we ship to the Gulf.

BE INFORMED DONORS!
Other groups may not be serving the truly underserved!  Be careful.  Many "charity" groups are collecting donations to "serve the underserved" but in reality, are serving their friends/families/friends of families who are, yes, suffering, but do have alternative and back-up resources available to them. Need is all relative, a fact many of us not physically affected by Katrina are realizing. We do careful background checks on the shelters and warehouses and then send in people to confirm that these warehouses and shelters are in fact serving people that have very little or no support.  Unfortunately, many groups are not as rigorous in identifying the most needy!  Some even take donations and use them to support small, exclusive communities of people! To whom do you want YOUR donations to go? Please be careful. Be informed donors.
