Affiliation: Do Your Part available at Foyer `d Orelph (ORPHANAGE) - 2010 Haiti Earthquake

Do Your Part is offering community members the opportunity to have fundraisers with their group (ie. church, youth group, sports team, school, civic club, etc.) to raise funds to purchase backpacks for Haitian kids. Volunteers can hold garage sale, bake sales, car washes, pancake breakfasts, etc. DYP comes out and presents to your group, sharing the details of the needs of these children and helps organize your drive. Once the event takes place, funds purchase the backpacks and school supplies and we have a 'backpack assembly party'. The supplies are then shipped to Haiti. Your event is filmed and imaged so you see exactly what all your hard work produced, including the children receiving the backpacks.

Currently, DYP is delivering 100 backpacks to this orphanage site. They are expecting anywhere from 200-300 students to attend school from the onsite residents to the community.
