Meals, Volunteers, Meals for Volunteers available at HandsOn New Orleans

notes: Meals are provided for all volunteers, and cooked by them, too. Breakfast and dinner are prepared and served from our site at Hands On New Orleans. Breakfast is served at 7 a.m.; dinner is served at 7 p.m. Lunch is provided - as MRE’s, or Meals Ready to Eat - and taken by volunteers to the job sites. We have a full kitchen, so volunteers can address special food needs and prepare their own meals as needed. Going out to eat with fellow volunteers and supporting the local economy is always an option, but Hands On cannot cover the expense. Our volunteer base ranges from 50-75 volunteers daily. You should budget some money for miscellaneous items you may want to purchase during your stay.
