What should we plan on doing for food?
As with most mission trips, the meal schedule includes breakfast and dinner at your housing location and lunch at the worksite. Some sites provide some meals for volunteers. When meals are not provided, volunteers will need to provide their own food for the week. Sites that do not provide meals for volunteers usually have a kitchen where volunteers can prepare hot meals.

Should we bring food with us?
If you are providing your own food, it is best to purchase supplies once you have arrived. This saves packing room for your trip, and, more importantly, it puts money into the local economy. As mentioned above, some housing sites do provide some meals for volunteers, and other sites ask volunteers to be more self-sufficient. All volunteers will probably want to purchase some snacks, bottled water, etc
