Shelter, Evacuation Shelter, Volunteer needed by Red Cross Northshore Region (Tangipahoa, Washington, & St. Tammany Parishes)

Shelter Operations volunteers will assist in opening, operating, and closing Red Cross shelters by working with a shelter operations team during a disaster. The team will organize the physical facility, material resources, and human resources to meet the needs of the people displaced as a result of the disaster.

Availability to respond at any given time
Availability for regional travel
Resident of Tangipahoa, Washington, or St. Tammany Parishes

All American Red Cross Volunteers undergo a backgroud check before serving.
