We welcome groups as well as individual volunteers!

Habitat for Humanity/Metro Jackson Hancock Project offers volunteer opportunities for you to help with all aspects of home building. We have both construction and non-construction volunteer opportunities available to you. You do not need to be an expert in construction to help out on a work site. There are many tasks that require only a willingness to learn and work with others. All volunteers on the construction site must be at least 16 years of age or older. We will work rain or shine!

Individuals, as well as our groups, stay at Lagniappe Presbyterian Church. Lagniappe's accomodations include bunk houses, shower/restroom facilities, social gathering area, wireless internet, and 3 meals/day. The cost to stay at Lagniappe is $120 per week.
