notes: Getting started as an individual: All volunteers who are not coming with a group of 5 or more must attend an orientation session. Orientations are held every 2nd and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6:00 PM at our facility located at 3811 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77026. Orientation lasts about 1 hour and includes a tour of the facility. Children under the age of eight years old are not allowed in the warehouse due to OSHA guidelines. Children under the age of sixteen years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No overly tight or sexually suggestive clothing are permitted in the warehouse. Clothing must be free of offensive messages and graphics. Muscle shirts on men, women or children are not permitted in the warehouse. Our volunteer program is extremely flexible and accommodating for even the busiest Houstonian.
