Volunteers, Teen Volunteers (This facility accomodates Teen Volunteers) needed by Camp Gulfside - United Methodist Disaster Response (UMCOR)

The Mississippi UN Disaster Response welcomes youth if they
are ages (14) fourteen to (18) eighteen, and are accompanied
by adults, in a ratio of (1) adult, age 21 or over, to every
(4) youth. Youth must complete liability forms contained in
packet prior to trip. Additionally, team leaders should consider
the maturity and skills of all youth.

Can Youth Participate? We encourage youth down to 14 to participate under certain conditions described in our Safe Sanctuary Policy. You can request a copy of this policy when you call or email our office. We do not have ‘youth specific’ work, so youth will be assigned the same projects as adults. This should be taken into consideration before scheduling.
