Services, Legal Assistance (For Low-Income Families) available at Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project

Eligibility Requirements: Must meet financial guidelines (same as
legal services) and other regulations

Documents Required: Proof of income, documents pertaining to legal
matter requesting assistance for.

Description of Services: Agency matches private attorneys who donate
their time to assist low-income citizens with civic legal problems
(Prohibited from handling cases that are criminal, fee generating,
and drug related – cannot represent prisoners in any legal matters)
