Distribution, Distribution Center, Volunteer needed by St. Bernard Project

We have an urgent need for volunteers to help with the Mustard Seed Distribution every Thursday. Individuals and groups are welcome; ideally we would like to have as many as 10 assistants. The distribution takes place from 11-4, but if volunteers could arrive an hour early to help with setup, that would be ideal. We also need volunteers who we could call on an as-needed basis when shipments of donated goods arrive, or for other one-time events.

If interested, please phone CCSTB Mustard Seed Director Jason Horwitz at (504) 617-2580.

Please note that these are only job openings; we regret that we are unable to provide housing or transportation at this time. For those using public transport, we are located 3 blocks east of the Aycock St terminus of the #88 St Claude bus (www.norta.com). For assistance with housing for non-local volunteers, we would suggest trying the New Orleans craigslist (http://neworleans.craigslist.org/).
