OASIS

OASIS (Our Attitudes Should Imitate the Son) is based on Philippians 2:5. We believe that our “attitudes should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.” OASIS is the after-school ministry of Mission First, Inc. OASIS is for Kindergarten through 5th graders in the West Park community.

Normal after-school activities occur between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Activities include: group worship, tutoring, arts and crafts, music, drama and recreation.

Throughout the school year, we plan special field trips, events, and programs. Prior notification will be given for all field trips and special events/programs.

Oasis Objectives…
* encourage spiritual development and decision-making at the student’s level of readiness.
* develop interests, appreciation, and skills that may last a lifetime.
* work with each student personally to develop his or her talents and creative ability.
* use tutoring time to enable students to achieve academic success.
* provide relaxed Christian fun and friendship.
* help children see Christ’s love.
* work with other leaders.
