PCC is doing everything possible to accommodate these students and their families, as well as all individuals affected. Administrators and faculty are working with current students on an individual basis to complete their semester coursework. An extension for finals, as well as other options, is available. Students should contact Jim Stratford at 620-450-2121 at their convenience to establish what will work for them. PCC is providing housing to families of students whose homes were destroyed, and they will be housing American Red Cross volunteers beginning Monday, May 14 if housing is needed. In addition, PCC has offered its facilities to Greensburg high school to utilize for graduation exercises and its athletic equipment to their sport teams participating in district and state competitions. Students and faculty members are assisting as possible. PCC nursing faculty are currently in the shelters addressing health concerns and providing medical care. Some students and employees are assisting with recovery and clean-up efforts, and students in Phi Theta Kappa are collecting monetary donations, as well as needed goods for PCC students affected.
