CCHC provides programs through grants and other funding targeted to support the community clinics in their work. Clinic members benefit from support in areas such as pharmaceutical assistance, interpretive services, emergency preparedness, volunteer recruitment, free specialty consultations for patients, and shared specialty clinics. The following list describes current CCHC projects and programs which directly benefit the clinics, and through them, the community.

The Coalition provides planning and technical assistance to safety net clinics in six counties in Oregon (Region 1). The purpose is to design a regional response plan that increases the clinics’ capacity to mobilize in order to provide a surge in services during a large-scale emergency. We are working closely with hospitals, local health departments, and government and private providers to formulate strategies for resource sharing and communications during emergencies. Funding for this project is provided by the Hospital Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and is administered through the Northwest Oregon Health Preparedness Organization (HPO).
