The Hindu Mission Hospital is an NGO, built and run entirely out of voluntary contributions from several donors in India and abroad. The Hospital does not receive any financial assistance either from the Tamilnadu State Government or from the Union Government of India for revenue expenditure.

It has been the policy of the Hospital to fund its capital expenditure from donations and manage all revenue expenditure by the nominal charges collected such as :

* Rs. 10/- per annum for registration for free annual medical consultation
* Rs. 70/- for specialist consultation valid for the next 7 days
* Rs. 100/- for super specialist consultation valid for the next 7 days
* affordable charges for investigations
* affordable charges for treatment both for OP and IP
