Consumer Trade-In Program
GreenSight works with national retailers helping them to offer and operate a consumer electronics trade-in and recycle program. Our goal is to facilitate the trade-in and recycling of used consumer electronics that may still contain value or have exceeded their useful life and no longer contain value in today's used consumer electronics market.

Commercial Asset Recovery
We offer one of the industries' most comprehensive asset recovery solutions. Our team has developed the infrastructure and expertise to help your organization receive optimum cash value for its end of life technology assets, while providing a secure means of ensuring sensitive data removal to Department of Defense standards.

E-Waste Disposal
Equipment that does not have a resale value as parts or whole machines will be disposed of in accordance with EPA guidelines and in compliance with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. All identification tags will be removed and certificates of disposal or destruction will be provided on all equipment. GreenSight conforms to a "Zero Landfill/No Export" Policy by working with only ISO 14001 certified partners who recycle and refine these materials for remanufacturing into new products.

GreenSight first employs a best-efforts approach to accomplish the purest form of recycling: the collection and reuse of equipment. Through the utilization of its expert technical staff, who de-manufacture equipment and test yielded parts and components in a controlled and secure tech room, and its highly experienced sales teams, who remarket these parts and components via established sales channels, GreenSight extends the life of technology assets and maximizes its corresponding residual value.

For equipment that does not qualify for reuse, including equipment classified as hazardous waste by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), GreenSight ensures its disposal or destruction so as to comply with federal and state environmental regulations. GreenSight's Certificate of Disposal, which is provided to all asset recovery clients upon request, clearly states its EPA-compliant manner of processing end of life technology assets.

Data Security and Destruction
In addition to recycling used electronic products, GreenSight offers the most advanced methods for sanitizing data from, or completely destroying, PC desktop, laptop and server hard drives.

GreenSight complies with the highest standards for sanitizing electronic data by using "Active Kill Disk" software which adheres to the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD 5220.22-M Sanitization Schedule) standards. This data sanitation utility optimizes the hard drive wiping process by performing three passes which overwrite random characters across the drive platters, rendering the data irretrievable by standard recovery methods. This "Three Pass DOD" sanitation can be employed on all IDE/SCSI drives of any size, and complies with the U.S. Government data erasure standards for all secret, sensitive and classified information.

Hard drives that are not capable of running the "Active Kill Disk" software are destroyed using a hard drive crushing device that has the capability of boring a 2.5 inch diameter hole through the drive and all of its platters, rendering the data on the drives irretrievable.
