9/4/09 LTel: This site serves as a 'layover' for livestock/horses. Horses are transported to Pierce College for sheltering. Livestock is transported to other available large animal Los Angeles County Animal Services facilities for sheltering.
It's not confirmed but I am guessing since evac's are lifted this facility is now on standby.
The fire has jumped Big Tujunga Canyon and they are evacuating area's of Sunland/Tujunga.
This facility is now open and accepting livestock. Not sure about pets yet.
