19. CNCS/AmeriCorps NCCC

 The AmeriCorps NCCC Southern Region campus is accepting requests for NCCC teams to respond to the recent Southeast floods. NCCC teams are made up of 10-12 members from across the country, aged 18-24 years old. Each team has a Team Leader and their own transportation and uniforms. They are all trained in American Red Cross Disaster Services, including Mass Care and Shelter Ops/Simulation as well as First Aid. Teams can provide a variety of service in times of disaster including, but not limited to: volunteer management, shelter operations, food preparation and service, donation centers, call centers, needs assessments, debris removal, mucking, gutting and more.

 Teams can also be used in long term recovery efforts and NCCC staff is available to discuss those possibilities. The below information is needed in order to be considered:
