notes: FROM THE SITE: The Month of July brought horrible flood that created disaster in most of the areas of Pakistan. At this moment there is a need of joint efforts by Government and Non Government sectors to minimize the loss in flood affected areas. MOJAZ is well aware of the needs of time. In these turbulent times when the poor and marginalized have been pushed to depths of horrible darkness, food, drinking water, tents, non food items and medical services are needed most. MOJAZ has always worked for the needy and poverty-stricken people. So far, in collaboration with IRD, foundation is providing tents, kitchen kits, mosquito nets, first aid kids ,safe drinking water and medicine to some 200 families, for the viral diseases spreading in the area. MOJAZ is soon launching an awareness campaign on health and safety issues, as diseases like Diarrhea, Malaria, Cholera, and Food poisoning and Skin allergies are spreading not only in flood affected areas but also in relief camps. We expect enormous contribution from the philanthropist and the resourceful and intent to immediately dispatch relief goods to affected areas through a dedicated, committed and energetic team of our Foundation. The initiative is comprised of a training of selected candidates for the program and followed by establishment of new MFIs as PPAF’s Linkage Partner Organizations (LPO) and provision of line of credit along with capacity building grant.
