As part of our mission to provide "green" programs to the community, the Upcycle It! program collects non-recyclables such as drink pouches, Elmer's glue containers, chip bags, granola bar wrappers, coffee bags, and more to keep them out of landfills.

Drink Pouches:
ANY brand of drink pouch and their straw!

Prep:
1) empty as much liquid as you can
2) cut off top, just above where straw goes
3) rinse and dry
Elmer’s Glue:
ANY brand of glue bottle/stick/pen. Glitter glue too.
Prep: Clean as best you can, but don’t worry too much. Leave cap ON.
Energy Bars
ANY brand of energy, granola, cereal bar or Rice Krispie Treat.
No more Pop Tart Wrappers.
Prep: empty crumbs

ANY empty chip/snack bags, large and small sizes,

ANY brand of coffee bag – the ones with silver lining

ANY brand of pen, mechanical pencil, marker, highlighter, dry erase marker, Sharpie, Crayola Twistables etc. – no wooden pencils

ANY cork from wine or champagne, natural or synthetic
