The goal is to build 1000 homes in Haiti. ------------------------------- VOLUNTEERING - FROM THE SITE: Project Title: ***Healthcare Opportunity-Haiti Medical Teams Location: Haiti Length of stay including travel time: 7 days Dates of travel: August 28, 2010 through 2011 Team Size: 7-10 maximum Approximate Cost: $250 plus international airfare Description of the project: Medical clinics to help the people of Haiti. Volunteer work to be accomplished: Volunteers will conduct medical clinics. Non-medical team members may be used to disburse medicines, talk with patients, complete forms, as translators or a variety of other duties as needed. Skill Requirements: Teams must have at least one medical doctor and three to four nurses, paramedics, EMT's, etc. Three to four team members may be non-medical. Living Environment: Tents Special considerations: Excellent physical health required with no respiratory problems. Teams are asked to bring medicines and basic medical equipment.
