The population of this region is approximately 47500 people for a surface of 246.16 square kilometers and it’s density is 192 people per square kilometers. The roads which connect the town of Cavaillon to the communal sections are severely damaged and difficult to drive on. The Communal sections have no infrastructures, more than 90% of the people live with less than 1 U$D per day and they live off only from agriculture, in these sections there is no drinking water and there is not even a nurse to care for people when they are sick.
