MSF-F planning to chlorinate part of the Port de Paix water network (4 points). • DINEPA due to start household distribution campaign (aquatabs / soap / chlorox) next week some stocks already pre-positioned. Currently estimated 76,659 households in priority #1 and 37,384 households in priority #2 zones. • ACF is planning distribution of a two week’s supply of aquatabs and soap to 15,000 families starting next week. ACF is ramping up their hygiene promotion activities in three communes (Port de Paix, Anse a Foleur, and Saint Louis du Nord) with hygiene promotion awareness activities targeted at market places, and with key community leaders. In addition, ACF have planned tap tap and bus spraying activities in public places. ACF is planning to distribute WASH NFIs to seven CTCs and CTUs (handwashing stations /buckets / brushes / mops / chlorox / soap / sprayers / gloves) that have not already received assistance. • A mapping exercise (who, what, where, how) of civil society actors (Adventist, Baptist and Catholic religious networks, youth networks, scouts, electoral volunteers, governmental networks, etc.) and NGOs is planned this week, along with a gap analysis, to be presented at the Friday meeting. • WASH in health facilities a priority with potential of CTCs and CTUs becoming a significant source of transmission.
