During the launching of the initiative on Tuesday November 16, 2010, about 35 people living under the tents located in Tapis vert, Parc Jean Marie Vincent, Petion Ville Golf Club, and Delmas 31 had the opportunity to ask questions to representatives of Zanmi La Sante and Church World Services. About 15 members of the press were present at the round table. The activity lasted 2 hours. Immediate Impact; Following the roundtable, the camp Hasco where 300 families are leaving since the earthquake has received the support of Zanmi La Sante. A small clinic has been put in place to serve this camp. It offers to the public an extensive and excellent executive training on Management, leadership, human rights. Universite CFDE (Center for Economic training and Development) CFDE is a subsidiary of DAA (Development Assistance and Associates), a center for studies in teaching, leadership, management and economic development. PRODEV (Foundation for Progress and Development) The main objective of this foundation is to support the development of Haiti through positive initiatives in the area of education with a particular focus on the youth. PRODEV has developed several projects in place concerning children in prison, promoting women in politics, the social assimilation of deported Haitians from overseas. IMED -Institut Mobile d’Education Democratique IMED ‘s initial sole objective is to promote the principals and values of democracy throughout Haiti. But in the course of its development , adjusting to circumstances, had to embark on 2 major additional missions: protection of human rights and humanitarian assistance.
