MOSCTHA is currently working in the border town of Anse-Pitre, Haiti. Founder/Director Joseph Cherubin and staff team have been meeting with the mayor, local health officials and leaders from community orgs to strengthen collaboration and partnerships.

MOSCTHA's medical team and mobile clinic partnered with local doctors and nurses to deliver medical consultations in some of the more remote areas around Anse-a-Pitre. We distributed sanitation and hygiene kits and delivered cholera prevention education workshops.

(There have been 5 deaths and over a hundred reported infections)
In addition to the medical outreach, MOSCTHA met with the fisher association to hear about their needs, challenges and suggestions. MOSCTHA provided the group with a generator, fishing supplies, life vests, two outboard motors and a boat for collective use. These provisions will help increase the productivity and viability of this local industry.

The community leaders also identified other areas of need.
