What is Kidsline?
Kidsline is a free telephone counseling service for all New Zealand kids up to the age of 14.

Kidsline operates from 4pm to 6pm every weekday, Monday to Friday. When kids ring they speak to a Kidsline Buddy – a specially trained teenage telephone counselor.

Kidsline is uniquely about kids being there for kids – we are the only national child helpline in the world where every counsellor is a teenage secondary school student.

Our service is free and safe to talk. At 0800 Kidsline we won't give advice, instead we'll listen really carefully to what you've got to say, we'll support and encourage you and help you to come up with the best approach to what's happening for you.
