On August 28, 2011 our small town of Stockbridge, Vermont was hit hard by flooding as a result of Tropical Storm Irene. Many area roads, bridges, homes, and property were damaged or completely destroyed. Stockbridge became one of Vermont's 13 isolated communities, suffering from widespread power outages, lack of outside communication and no means of inbound or outbound travel. However, we have come together as a community to rebuild our town and reconnect.

We appreciate your interest and support in these rebuilding efforts. Please browse through the entire website to learn how you can help, get local information, and see videos and photos of our flooding and rebuilding efforts. This is a volunteer administered site but we are making every attempt to publish the most accurate and up to date information as quickly as possible.
