Mission: WHO WE ARE
We are Disaster Relief And Disaster Training or DRADT, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization . We provide Disaster Relief when it’s needed and Disaster Training both on site during relief efforts and before a disaster when possible. A board of directors over sees our operations and ensures that we stay focused on our vision, meaning we don’t work outside of our mission. We aren’t saying we are the solution, we’re part of the solution. It will take all of us working together to make a long term difference and we hope you’ll join us in our efforts to empower the local church during times of disaster.

A Church capable of finding needs within their community and sharing them with the people and organizations capable of meeting those needs. A Church providing help without prejudice towards a persons age, race, religion or social status. For the Church to love like Jesus.

Notes:
Jonathan Bundy, Chance Craven and Matt McGraw are in Lancaster with DR1 ( our mobile command center ) and DR2 ( our scout vehicle ) to assist with relief. We also have Herbie Pallotta, a local resident, assisting us full time.
Our main objective at this time will be to identify very real, specific needs within the community and begin to share those needs with you, within 72 hours. In the past, this has included everything from physically coming to the disaster zone to volunteer or providing the resources to purchase things such as hearing aids for home owners who lost them. We ask that if you are interested in receiving this list of needs, you please fill out this form and we will be in touch as quickly as possible.

7:46PM - Our team has arrived in Lancaster, Texas
Thursday
9:07AM - Walmart has given us permission to operate on their property ( 150 N Interstate 35 E, Lancaster, Texas )
9:33AM - We will begin accepting homeowners needs at our Mobile Command Center at Walmart.
5:43PM - Gateway Church in Southlake has partnered with us in helping recruit volunteers to help home owners. Details here: http://bit.ly/HyBGs5
10:57PM -Because of the “official” looking truck that Duval Ford donated to us, we were able to go behind police lines and begin assessing home damage today. Unfortunately, many home owners simply weren’t present so we were not able to identify very real, specific needs yet. However because of our relationship with Hand of Hope and the many of you who’ve donated so far, today we were able to:
Distributed cold drinks and candy to 23 check points where both state and local officers were staged.
Established a relationship with the local Walmart to operate from their property.
Gave away $250 worth of gift cards to affected residents.
Established a relationship with Whataburger; they will be providing free breakfast tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow we will begin working in collaboration with other organizations to identify needs and begin managing volunteers. For all of you that have signed up and are waiting, at this moment we plan to mobilize all of you on Saturday! Thank you for signing up.
