Be aware that if the org is an "advocacy" group, that it is not just using its list to advertise its services/products, it is using the list to advocate (sell, push) ideas/concepts. So be aware that by joining their list, you are part of a network is people developing and disseminating concepts for the wider world. It's up to you to decide if you think the org's message is good or not. We are just choosing orgs that we think have decent privacy policies. So this list is about "advocating for better privacy policies". The group you choose to work with is likely to be advocating for other things as well. Good citizens are HEALTHILY SUSPICIOUS...
