cat_notes: Dayle, I had to edit this because the "unmarked bldg." is not the latest shelter they opened. It is across from the high school, but they actually opened a third shelter Sunday night. I'm keeping the 2nd shelter for the "unmarked bldg." together with the WRAP facility entry. Les - 9/2 -> Dayle, I had to edit this because the "unmarked bldg." is not the latest shelter they opened. (show/hide changes)Tue Sep 02 23:51:13 +0000 2008 by LTel:notes: They have a fully operational kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 1 shower.
They are currently in great need of Flashlights/Batteries because the smaller building doesn't have a generator. 2 weeks ago they received a good generator for the WRAP building so they are set there. They are also in great need of Toiletry Kits as many folks are showing up with "nothing, not a blanket or a toothbrush".
They are turning away a lot of folks that are just driving in without calling ahead and they "don't know where to go or what to do".
